Approach of Thanksgiving made me think of lovely fall colors in Ontario. As I couldn’t make it to Ontario this year I went in search of fall colors in the Rockies. These are photos I took on a day hike to the Valley of Ten Peaks. The larch all turns golden and it is beautiful.
Cost of day trip?
- My share of gas: Free because I was using a $25 gas gift card I got from my sister
- Trail mix and granola bar: $2
- Water: Free from water filter at home
Much cheaper than a trip to Ontario. I would like to visit my friends in Ontario though. Probably when I have enough frequent flyer miles for a free return flight.
