Linens 'n Things bankrupt?

Over at smartcanucks.ca I read this morning that Linens ‘n Things is expected to file for bankruptcy protection by Tuesday. I wrote previously about my experience at Linens ‘n Things. Basically they have a lot of things I’d like to have but don’t really need selling at prices I wouldn’t really pay for.

Good thing I used up my gift card (with a 20% off coupon) already. But does this mean liquidation sales are coming soon? They are only filing for bankruptcy protection. I’ve never seen something like this happen for a retail store so we’ll see.

Oh I hadn't heard this. I have only been to one of their stores, in Maine, as there are none in my province. I loved the stuff but found it overpriced also...
