There I was getting my hair cut and my phone rings. To be honest I was expecting a call sometime this week, which is why I did not turn off my phone. It is the company I interviewed with asking for references. Yay! We also talked about salary expectations. Turns out I won’t be taking a pay cut even at the lower end of the range. Double Yay! He asked that barring anything big popping up with references when I could start. I got home soon as I could and called up my references to give them the heads up and sent the list out.
I wasn’t surprised that they called back. However, I had expected a long period (2 months) of searching. However, this is a great opportunity and I will take it if it is offered.
