This morning I walked into the elevator, pressed the button for my floor, and waited. And waited. I pushed the 'close door' button and waited. And waited. Thought elevator was broken and moved to the next elevator. Pressed button for my floor, waited, pushed 'close door', hold 'close door', waited. Repeat same with third elevator and waited.
Finally someone came into the elevator, pressed the button for his floor, and the door closes and up we go. What!? Did I stop existing!?
