Another friend becomes a home owner

From where I am standing things seem to be picking up in the Canadian real estate market. Looking around all the people I know, I think 70% are looking at properties to buy. Then yesterday, another friend signed the papers and will soon be a home owner.

It's hard not to be a little jealous. I've been looking longer than most of the people I know, but still nothing yet. But then the reasonable me says it's ok. It's a big purchase and I will regret it if I rush it. Still...my closet is running out of space, my bathroom is breaking down, and I'm ready to live on my own again.
