Beau and I have been eating out a lot lately because we are both busy (no good excuse I know). I am starting to get concerned about our weight and our budget. Usually we order two entrees and possibly an appetizer, which is way too much food for one sitting. After a couple nights of feeling stuffed we started a new rule, only eat half of each entree, skip the appetizer, and pack the left overs for lunch.
This strategy has a few advantages. We get more variety than ordering one entree. We don't overeat at dinner. We spread the cost of the dinner over lunch as well. Finally, we don't have to wonder what to make for lunch.
