Not a home owner yet

So there was some back and forth, and we ended up with a $7K difference between my final offer, and the seller's final offer.  My agent actually think this is very reasonable for the area.  I think so as well.  However, when we looked at the condo again last night we noticed something.  There is a high pitched, monotonal noise that is constant throughout the condo.  It sounds like a transformer, or a fan? We confirmed the source is not outside or in the hall but in the unity.  We think it may have something to do with the fact that it is an end unit and that there may be electrical stuff running down the sides of both bedrooms.

I thought at the time that I can live with it since I always have music, radio, or TV on.   But what if I can't.  I don't care about noise like street noise or car noise, but a monotone would be different.  If it happens I can't live with the noise and have to sell again in a short amount of time, then I'd be losing a lot of money in fees and wasted a lot of time and energy.  Pair this consideration with the fact that I'd be paying $7K more than I wanted to pay, it's too much for me to compromise on.

What would you do?  Would that bother you?  As for the volume: the fridge is pretty loud.  When the fridge is on, you can't hear it too much but when it's not on you can hear it everywhere.

That would be a deal breaker for me. I can't stand "white noise". I'd go crazy. If you are going to pay more than you had planned then it should be for something that is perfect and that you truly love.
